Andrea Stern, Founder
Over the past 25 years, Andrea has worked as both a maker and a creative entrepreneur. Her career began as the creative director of the SoHo Grand hotel (1993â€“96). Following that, she was the publisher of the Long Island Voice, a regional subsidiary of the Village Voice. She dedicated herself to photography for nearly two decades after that, and produced five monographs and multiple exhibitions. Since completing an MFA in Studio Art from NYU in 2015, she has produced or created projects that include videos, art installations, and residential design. Andrea holds a BA in from Brown University (1988), a certificate from the International Center of Photography in photojournalism and documentaryphotography (1990) and an MFA in studio art from NYU (2015).
Ken DiPaola, Founder
Ken DiPaolo is an artist based on the east end of Long Island, primarily focused on sculpture and site-specific works. Over the past twenty-five years, Ken has fabricated, conceptualized, or project managed a diverse array of artistsâ€™ projects, retail environments, residential, furniture and landscape works.
Victor Sira, Design & Publications
Victor Sira is a Venezuela-born photographer and artist who has been the recipient of numerous fellowships for his work, including the Guggenheim Foundation Fellowship, the Andrea Frank Foundation Fellowship and the New York Foundation for the Arts Fellowship. Sira is a faculty member at the ICP–Bard MFA Program in Advanced Photographic Studies, where he teaches the course “The Book: Imaginary Studio, A Non-stop Process.” In 2011, he co-founded Bookdummypress (bdp), a publishingcompany, studio and bookstore that specializes in artist publications.
Sheri L. Pasquarella, Business Director
Sheri Pasquarella is a consultant, working as business advisor and director. She was the founder of the New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) and a cofounder of the NADA Art Fair. For the past 14 year, her consultancy SLP Creative has offered business consulting to creative enterprises that have included Sargent’s Daughters Gallery, Venus Over Manhattan Gallery, Bortolami Gallery, Rafael de Cardenas/Architecture at Large, Performance Space NY, PIN–UP Magazine, Ashe Leandro Interiors, The Coalition for the Homeless, and many others.
