Workshop with Bill Miller JANUARY 7, 2023

Join us on Saturday, January 7th from 11am-2pm for a hands-on-workshop with Bill Miller. Participants will be led in the artist’s signature style of collage. Each attendee will explore the artist’s archive of vintage linoleum and create their own custom assemblage to take home.
This event is being held in conjunction with Bill Miller at dieFirma, on view at our Cooper square location in NYC October 20, 2022 – January 14, 2023. Miller will give an exhibition walk-through to the participants.
This workshop is for ages 10 and up.

Bill Miller was born in Cleveland, Ohio, in 1962. He studied at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and is a founding member of the Industrial Arts Co-op. In 1997 Miller moved to New York City and worked as the Art Director for the Long Island Voice and later as a designer for The Village Voice. It was at this time that he began to publicly exhibit his linoleum collages. Miller’s work has been widely exhibited, with solo shows in New York, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Seattle, and New Orleans. In addition to his two shows at dieFirma Shelter Island, NY, his collages have been internationally exhibited in Barcelona and London. In 2007, he had a retrospective at the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts and Media. Miller currently resides in Pittsburgh.

If you are already registered (and have paid) for a workshop that is cancelled, your whole registration amount will be refunded. If you request to withdraw from a workshop 48 hours or more before the day of the workshop, dieFirma will refund the Workshop Fee and any Supply Fee minus a 15% processing fee.
